Absolutely! Hand the empty crate back to us during your next delivery, contributing to our sustainable packaging cycle.
At Kinder Kindling, we’re different. Our kindling is made from locally reclaimed wood, naturally dried under the sun and wind to achieve a Ready to Burn certified moisture level below 20%. All materials are either reused or recycled—our packaging uses reusable mushroom crates, and we repurpose or recycle all production waste. We’re committed to eco-friendly practices, delivering a high-quality, sustainable product that supports Dorset’s environmental goals.
No. We sell by volume. We know this is more difficult to visualise but weight is far too variable. Our wood is of different types with different densities which means from one crate to the next there can be a significant difference. Also, the less moisture in the wood, the lighter it is so even identical wood will weigh different amounts. The volume of our crates is 0.015m3. Our crates are 40cm x 30cm x 12.5cm. We know that isn’t as helpful as we want it to be so here is an image of one of our crates.
